Dinning out at Quan Ju De Beijing Duck Restaurant

What: For this month's social, join us for a multi-course dinner at the Beijing Duck Restaurant in Monterey Park/Rosemead. This is the same famous restaurant in Beijing where former U.S. President Richard Nixon had his first Beijing duck in China. Besides the world-famous roast duck, we will have many other delicious Mandarin dishes in our special VIP room (look for the CRA sign), with comfort and privacy. After the dinner, we will retire to a member's residence for tea/coffee and deserts with perhaps karaoke and games. A map and directions to the after-dinner party will be distributed @ the restaurant.
Directions: Take FWY 10 east and exit at Rosemead Blvd. Go south and turn left @ Garvey Blvd. The restaurant is on the right. Parking in the rear.
CSW-Los Angeles Gay Pride Parade and Festival
When: Saturday and Sunday, June 10 & 11
Where: Santa Monica Blvd., West Hollywood
This year the pride event, the largest of its kind in the world, happens earlier than usual on June 10 and 11. In the past, CRA has always participated. This year we need more volunteers to march with our banners. The parade is well organized, safe, and fun. All CRA marchers will wear black pants and shoes (kung fu pants will be perfect), white tops (or shirtless), and a bright red sash. This uniformed clothing should make our participants stand out among the crowd.
