Dear Fellow tongzhis:

How time flies -- it has been another year! I hope you all have had a safe and successful 2003.

At CRA, besides our successful regular potluck parties, we have had special events and celebrations. We also have had media coverage, educating the mainstream
Chinese community about our concerns and issues.

Also two CRA members succeeded in getting their asylum immigration status approved. Their futures look bright and we are happy and grateful for them!

So CRA has done well this year, with strong financial position and has grown with new members and acquaintances. For December, please be sure to come to our fun new year eve party, which will last till the next year, if your care to stay after midnight (I know I am). This has become somewhat of a tradition, much like our Chinese new year banquet, which will take place on Saturday Jan. 31, 2004. And on Feb. 28, we are going to see the fabulous Chi' Chinese Acrobat Show at the Cerritos Performance Center. Please mark these dates on your 2004 calendar now.

We hope to have other interesting activities too for next year. How about a fashion show. a drag show, a field trip, lots of dining out evnet. We need creative voluteers to bring all into fruition. It is still not too late to join the CRA board and contribute your talent and time to serve our tongzhi community.
