Happy new year! I hope the new year will bring you new hopes and aspirations, a new beginning, and new successes.

Our first event of the year is the Chinese New Year Banquet on Jan 31 at the NBC Seafood restaurant, which is famous for its Cantonese cuisine. This venue regularly hosts the Chamber of Commerce banquets so the quality of food and service should be excellent. We will have a VIP room for quietness and privacy.

This new year banquet has been a tradition for CRA for several years now. It is not a fund-raiser, so your cost only pays for the cost of the banquet. This year, besides great food, socializing, installation, we also have some interesting new year games. I hope to see all of your there.

For the year, we are looking forward to offering many types of events and activities such as our most successful potluck parties, karaoke, dining out events, field-trips, and even special events like a fashion show, a talent show, a costume party, etc. Your membership ensures that you will be the first to be invited to these and other functions with members-only incentives.

Our February events include a potluck on Sat Feb 21, and a fabulous acrobatic show on Feb 28. Please mark your calendar early for these 2 events.
